i grew up in the maryland suburbs of washington, d.c. and lived most of my adult life in northern virginia. in the late '80s i lived and worked in europe and traveled extensively (with italy being my favorite country and paris my favorite city); in the '90s, i was in the arabian show horse business (as an avocation) in fredericksburg, virginia; in 2000, i retired from the defense department and lived on a motor yacht in st. petersburg for 3 years. i currently live in palm harbor in a lakeside home with pool and spa.
i'm an excellent cook (so i believe) and enjoy ethnic food and good wine. i really enjoy most music, like to dance, concerts, ruth eckerd hall, art fairs, small independent restaurants, weekend getaways to see more of florida. i enjoy most sports and work out at the gym regularly.
